Stephan May, Managing Director - STOREYWORKS | CAPITAL & STOREYWORKS | DEVELOPMENT
As an exempt market dealer registered with the Ontario Securities Commission, Stephan helps business owners buy and sell companies, perform marketability assessments, and raise capital. Prior to Storeyworks, Stephan was the Director of Corporate Development for TUC Brands where he was responsible for all corporate development, which included, M&A, partnerships, and corporate finance. In 2012, TUC grew from 15 to 140+ employees by way of acquisition, winning the title of “Fastest Growing Company” in Ottawa. Stephan May holds a M.B.A from the University of Ottawa.

Yves Besner, Co-Founder & CEO - SEO TWIST - Mr. Besner is a co-founder and Chief Executive Officer at SEO TWIST - a full service digital marketing agency. He holds a diploma in Advanced Programming from La Cité Collégiale and a diploma in Applied Information Technology from the Institute for Information Technology. As an entrepreneur, he started his first business from his parents' basement and grew it to a multi-million dollar company with over 43 employees and 3 offices across Canada. From there, he developed one of the first web content management systems used in many government departments and organizations throughout Canada. His R&D and entrepreneurial skills are highly revered in the technology and business sectors, having been involved in the development of over 3,000 web projects and solutions.

Matt Price, Director - BDC - Matt is Director, Growth & Transition Capital in the BDC Ottawa office. Matt has spent nearly 10 years working across North America and Asia in corporate financing. With experience in structuring non-traditional financial terms, Matt is adept in harnessing a broad range of tools including cash-flow lending, mezzanine financing & direct equity investments, all depending upon the needs of the individual client. Matt’s true interest lies in helping businesses grow—and finding unique, sophisticated financial arrangements to facilitate that outcome.

Jim Harmon, Managing Partner - Boyden - Jim specializes in recruiting executives who fundamentally impact the bottom line. He joined Boyden after holding several management roles in the transportation sector. He has successfully carried out hundreds of CEO, CFO, CIO, and VP-level searches for innovation sector start-ups, large private and publicly-held enterprises, as well as public sector organizations. Jim and several other technology sector business leaders founded MindTrust, a forum exclusively for technology CEOs. Together with some of the region’s leading Chief Financial Officers, Jim organizes the CFO Breakfast, a semi-annual event that welcomes new CFOs to their roles.

Bruce Fischer, Chairman Advisor - WelchGroup Consulting - He is a multi-faceted entrepreneurial business leader with over 30 years of hands-on experience as CEO with a focus on finance, mergers & acquisitions, strategic planning, business development, marketing, sales, operations and mentoring entrepreneurs.

Robert Nadeau, Chairman Advisor - WelchGroup Consulting - Robert is a lawyer with 26 years of practical “hands on” experience. Jeffrey Dale, Chairman Advisor - WelchGroup Consulting - Jeffrey Dale is the co-founder and a Director for the Odawa Group Inc. The Odawa Group develops new approaches to creating financial models for long term funding of Infrastructure projects under a Public Private Partnership (P3) model.
